Beauty: the highlighter

4. Come applicarlo.

The highlighter is a cosmetic that not everyone uses, me too have only recently discovered, with which you can do real miracles: it is able to enhance the natural beauty of the face highlighting the right areas !
But choose it is not so easy

1. The color.
To choose an highlighter suitable for your complexion, you must first pay attention to the color of your skin because this product have the function to create light zones.
So it must be light, going from beige to pink depending on whether you have a pink or amber skin: it is essential to try it at least on the back of the hand and not buy with your eyes closed or trusting the outward appearance of the packaging.

2. The texture.
Even more important than the color is the texture!
There are in fact two main types of highlters: in cream and powder.
The creamy ones are usually preferred, since they blend better with the skin and ensure a very natural effect. They are also easier to roll out but may last less than the powder, especially in people with a tendency to oily skin.
The powder, instead, because of its composition, bind better to the face and indeed may also have the effect of drying the excess of sebum, even if could look more artificial.

3. The finish.
Another fundamental aspect is the finish of the illuminant! There are in fact opaque, pearlescent, satin or even with glittery.
Those who suffer from acne, scars and enlarged pores, should just avoid these types of products that do nothing but enhance and highlight even more these flaws.
The best choice in this case turns out to be the illuminating opaque that occurs mostly in the form of cream.
The iridescent highlighter instead, gives an absolutely brilliant complexion and is great for summer evenings in which you want to show off and bring out the tan, when you want to put a little 'out to an event, or when you have the cheekbones to "show" or a spectacular make up to show off!
It 'also obvious, that you will opt for one or the other depending on whether day or night, since it requires a different "discretion".

4. How to apply it.
It would always be appropriate, regardless of texture or finish, create a base before applying the product and, if you're able, make a contouring to enhance the effects of light and shadow of the face!
Apply only the highlighter, in fact, without having proceeded to homogenize the complexion of the entire face, could create a netcontrast, too fake
And 'recommended applying the product with a brush with synthetic brush if the is creamy, with natural brush if powder. The size of the same will vary depending on your face, however, are excellent brushes with flat circumference small or angled ones.
You can safely use your fingers or even better the tip of the fingerring, but if you are not very experienced may be difficult to do and above all fade properly!

5. Where to apply it.
The points of the face on which the highlighter typically fulfills its function are 5: high cheekbones, under the eyebrows, cupid's bow and eventually the back of the nose and chin.
All five of these areas, if duly highlighted, will create a perfect setting for the eyes and lips.
Small precautions should be used when you have such a nose too pronounced or lips are too big or too prominent chin, but otherwise these points can safely overflow light!

    Buon weekend!!! :-D

  4. If there's something I really love is a good highlighter! Every time I see a good brand launching one, I run to get it. I think ti gives a good glow, like being healthy and I love that - because normally I look pale, so makeup helps me to look better :) I loved the suggestions! So good to all of us!
