Late summer : country

The end of summer at my house has always been marked by an event (after the closure of the swimming pool ... sigh !) : my mom stat up the period of the preserves !
From mid-September until at least the beginning of October , my kitchen becomes a kind of factory of various jams and tomato sauce: there are big pots to boil on the stove , towels on chairs , table and cabinets, glass cans and bottles scattered almost everywhere, baskets and boxes of fruit piled on the terrace and on the floor ... A view rather unusual considering that throughout the rest of the year the kitchen (as well as almst whole house) is a mirror!
Needless to say, it becomes an area pratically off limits for me and my brother; my dad is involved from the outset , but if we do run the risk of being caught unprepared we could be also engaged in every task, from washing cans, to helping to peel and cut the fruit... so we try to avoid as much as possible to be at home, not much because we do not want to help ( we know well that it is right to do), but for the endless amount of time that it makes us lose ...
Unluckly we not always succeed , photos of today are proof of that , a few days ago my parents forced me to accompany them to buy tomatoes from a farmer: in addition to the fact that it tooks a lot of time to get there and back , I had to upload the cassette on the car and then bring them to the balcony of the house! Ok gender equality , but are my parents aware that they have a daughter ? >:S
Anyway for the occasion I put the Marras dress I bought during my holidays in Sardinia. In fact it is a bit of a waste to wear it for things like that, but even if I liked it so much when I saw it in the store, I find it a little difficult to wear: it is too country for the city and too long and flowing for trips outside ... and then , I admit, I really wanted take some pictures of it! ;)
